The MFF Team has a wide-ranging background in family content including Magic Door Immersive Events for kids, Children’s Cinema Club as part of Soda Pictures and releasing such titles as the Oscar® nominated stop-motion My Life as a Courgette, Annecy Animated Film Festival Audience Award winner Long Way North and the Petit Nicolas series based on the best-selling classic French books and an association with the Netflix Original Beat Bugs created around music made famous by The Beatles.
Modern Films Family is a sub-brand of Modern Films, dedicated to family-friendly content that is entertaining, inspiring and empowering to a younger generation.
We produce and distribute feature films, cinema events and television programming for young people and families. Modern Films’ family range offers a diversity of projects for young audiences from teens to toddlers.
Our current project includes a partnership with BBC children’s channel CBeebies, to bring their annual Christmas Show to cinemas across the UK and Ireland, as well as select countries internationally including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
CBEEBIES CHRISTMAS SHOWS:
Dick Whittington and His Cat | 2022
CBeebies is once again taking to the stage for Christmas 2022, with a unique adaptation of Dick Whittington and His Cat.
The audience will join our heroes as they travel to London for the Lord Mayor’s Christmas parade, only to discover a trio of cheeky rats are intent on ruining everyone’s fun.
