ALL ABOUT THE MOENY

DOCUMENTARY | English | 94 min

After cutting ties with his family trust, Fergie Chambers suddenly controls hundreds of millions of dollars — and he plans to use it to ignite a Communist revolution in the United States.

In the quiet town of Alford, Massachusetts, he builds an intentional community he calls a “revolutionary training ground.” Residents receive stipends, live in comfortable homes, and spend their days practising jiu-jitsu and studying Marx. But tensions rise — both within the group and with the surrounding town.

Is this the dawn of a genuine political movement, or just another performance of power by a man who can afford to challenge the system on his own terms?

Over nearly three years of unprecedented access, filmmaker Sinéad O’Shea captures a story of conviction, control, and contradiction — a cautionary tale about money, ideology, and the messy human desire to change the world without losing yourself in the process.
